Job summary

Culinary Khancepts is seeking a Guest Attendant for Star Cinema Grill in Houston. You will be the first friendly face guests see, helping with tickets, seating, and questions to ensure a warm, welcoming movie-going experience.

Responsibilities include cash handling, greeting guests, taking reservations or gift cards, answering phones, and supporting opening/closing duties while upholding high service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or guest-facing roles preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and maintain a friendly demeanor in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle cash transactions and confirm ticket prices.
• Assist guests with ticket purchases and reservations; guide seating and departure.
• Answer phones and direct calls to the right team members.
• Greet guests, balance server rotations, and ensure a smooth guest flow.

Job Summary

As a Guest Attendant at Star Cinema Grill, you'll be one of the first faces our guests see and play an important role in creating a warm, welcoming experience. Guest Attendants provide friendly and attentive service, assist guests throughout their visit, answer questions, and help ensure every guest feels welcomed, valued, and ready to enjoy their Star Cinema Grill experience.

Responsibilities

• Cash handling functions, confirming prices
• Assisting customers with their ticket and gift card purchases
• Responsible for taking reservations, greeting and seating guests, directing Guests to the theater, and thanking guests as they depart.
• Answer phones throughout the shift and direct calls to appropriate personnel as necessary.
• Greeting, seating guests, while maintaining a balanced rotation between servers
• Clear and prompt communication, both face-to-face and over the phone
• Eager and happy to accommodate all guests' requests
• Additional opening and closing side work-related job duties: cleaning, stocking, setting up host stand for next shift.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant/ host experience preferred
• High School diploma or GED
• Able to multi-task
• Ability to stand for long period so time, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Customer service focused and solution oriented
• Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs
• Food handler's card may be required according to local and or state regulations
