Job summary

Target is seeking an On‑Demand Guest Advocate in the United States. The role offers a starting hourly rate of $16.00 USD and a pay range of $16.00–$24.00 per hour. You will welcome guests, help them find products, and ensure a positive shopping experience.

The position requires flexibility for varying shifts, including nights and weekends, with training provided. As a Guest Advocate, you’ll learn our service standards, assist with loyalty programs, and use digital tools to support customers.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-facing skills and ability to engage with guests.
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced, physically active work.
• Willing to work flexible hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring guest experience by delivering on commitments.
• Greet guests at 10ft and 4ft zones with a warm, helpful interaction.
• Help guests find items and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• End every transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Support teammates and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, following safety standards.
• Promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up.
• Explain Wallet and Target App features to guests.
• Handle returns per policies and escalate with leaders as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and stock supplies during open hours.
