Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

Typical Responsibilities

As a Service Advocate, your day may include:

  • Demonstrating a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
  • Creating a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
  • Observing to quickly understand whether a guest needs assistance or wants to interact, following body language and verbal clues
  • Engaging with guests genuinely, asking questions to understand their needs
  • Being knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services to solve issues and improve guest experience
  • Thanking guests sincerely and expressing happiness that they chose Target

And more responsibilities including scanning, bagging, minimizing wait times, promoting loyalty programs, assisting with digital services, maintaining a clean work area, stocking supplies, and ensuring safety and compliance.
