Service & Engagement

As a Guest Advocate, your focus will be on exceeding guest service expectations through interaction, problem-solving, and promoting store services and benefits, both in-store and digitally.

Typical Responsibilities
  • Create a welcoming environment and greet guests authentically.
  • Observe guest cues to offer assistance or initiate interaction.
  • Engage with guests to understand and meet their needs.
  • Be knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services to assist guests effectively.
  • Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and safely.
  • Minimize guest wait times while maintaining service quality.
  • Promote Target loyalty programs and help guests with sign-ups.
  • Assist with digital services like Wallet, app features, and fulfillment options.
  • Handle returns following policies, partnering with leaders as needed.
  • Support order pickup, Drive Up, and registry services.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Support safety, compliance, and store operations.
