ALL ABOUT SMALL FORMATS

We enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is in stock, available, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor in our smallest format stores. This team is responsible for being proficient in all areas of the store to complete duties such as cashiering, stocking, presentation, and price accuracy. You’ll provide exceptional guest service, customizing each experience and anticipating guest needs.

Typical Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting all guests
• Observe and understand guest needs through body language and verbal cues
• Engage with guests to understand their needs and assist accordingly
• Be knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services to solve issues
• Thank guests sincerely and express appreciation for shopping at Target
• Assist with stocking, ensuring sales floor is full, zoned, and in stock
• Push and stock product on the sales floor
• Execute planograms, transitions, and sales plans
• Conduct weekly price changes and ensure signage accuracy
• Complete inventory scans and system audits
• Support store transitions and inventory management
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety, including trash, restrooms, carts, and spills
• Accurately handle inbound deliveries and backstock
• Operate power equipment if certified
• Follow safety and compliance policies at all times
• Support guest services like cashiering, order pickup, and Drive-Up
• Perform other duties as needed based on business needs
