ALL ABOUT SMALL FORMATS

We enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is in stock, available, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor in our smallest format stores. This team is responsible for being proficient in all areas of the store to complete duties such as cashiering, stocking, presentation, and price accuracy. You’ll provide exceptional guest service, customizing each experience and anticipating guest needs.

ROLE BENEFITS AND SKILLS

• Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest-first culture
• Understanding of retail fundamentals including sales trends, pricing, promotions, inventory management, and process efficiency
• Supportive of daily workload to meet business priorities and sales goals

TYPICAL DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests authentically
• Observe body language and verbal cues to assist guests proactively
• Engage with guests to understand their needs
• Be knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services to assist guests effectively
• Express appreciation to guests for shopping at Target
• Support workload with minimal disruption to guests
• Ensure sales floor is stocked, zoned, and in order
• Push and stock products, execute sales plans, and conduct price changes
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards
• Process inbound deliveries and perform inventory audits
• Operate power equipment if certified
• Follow safety and ethical conduct policies
• Support guest services like checkout and order pickup
• Perform other duties as needed
