ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND
You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM, with a schedule that varies depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking a personalized work schedule.
As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule but will have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or team members via our myTime mobile scheduling app that suit your availability.
Active engagement is required: you must pick up and work shifts, respond to our contact attempts, and confirm your interest in shifts at Target. Failure to respond or work at least one shift within 6 months (or 5 months starting December 2024) will result in administrative termination.
You will need to attend a Target Welcome orientation and complete a short-term structured training schedule. Afterward, you can use the myTime app to select shifts.
ALL ABOUT SMALL FORMATS
This team ensures product availability, accurate pricing, and proper presentation in our small-format stores. Responsibilities include cashiering, stocking, and maintaining presentation and price accuracy, all while providing exceptional guest service tailored to guest needs.
The role offers opportunities to develop skills in guest service, retail fundamentals, inventory management, and process efficiency. Typical duties include greeting guests, assisting with product needs, stocking shelves, executing price changes, conducting inventory audits, and supporting store transitions and cleanliness.
Additional responsibilities involve operating certified power equipment, maintaining safety and compliance, supporting guest services like cashiering and order pickup, and performing other duties as needed.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We might be a great match if you enjoy working in a fun, energetic environment, delivering excellent guest service, and supporting store operations. Basic skills include remaining focused in a fast-paced setting, being welcoming, communicating effectively, working independently and as part of a team, and paying attention to detail.
You should be capable of handling cash operations, climbing ladders safely, lifting merchandise up to 44 pounds, and working flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. Reliable attendance and active engagement (picking up shifts via the myTime app every 4 weeks or 5 months from December 2024) are essential to maintaining employment.
Additional requirements include working in varying environmental conditions, staying mobile during shifts, and being committed to safety and compliance standards.
