Job summary

Curtis Contracting, Inc. (CCI) is seeking an operator to work in the Guardrail Division, running power construction equipment to excavate, move and grade earth for roads, parking lots, and building pads. You may assist with concrete pours and related tasks.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of experience operating heavy equipment, a valid driving record, and the ability to pass drug tests and screenings. GPS knowledge is a plus; dependable transportation is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate equipment to establish grades on roads, parking lots, building pads, etc.
• Knowledge of GPS for establishing grades is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate power construction equipment to excavate, move and grade earth; assist in erecting structures or paving as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance such as lubrication, inspection, and cleaning of equipment.

Job Description/Summary

Will work in the Guardrail Division and operate one or several types of power construction equipment, such as motor graders, bulldozers, scrapers, tractors, front-end loaders to excavate, move and grade earth, erect structures or pour concrete or other hard surface pavement. Performs maintenance to the equipment such as lubricating, inspecting and cleaning.

Job Requirements/Qualifications

Must be able to operate equipment as indicated above to establish grades on various phases of new construction for roads, parking lots, building pads, etc., knowledge of GPS system for establishing grades a plus. 3-5 years of experience preferred. Drug Test/Screening, Reference Checks, and must have dependable transportation.
