Curtis Contracting, Inc. in Virginia seeks an experienced operator for diverse heavy construction equipment (graders, bulldozers, scrapers, tractors, loaders) to excavate, move and grade earth and to erect structures or pour concrete. You may perform maintenance like lubrication, inspection and cleaning to keep equipment ready for use.
Requirements include 3–5 years of experience preferred. A GPS-based grading capability is a plus, and dependable transportation is required to report to site
Will operate one or several types of power construction equipment, such as motor graders, bulldozers, scrapers, tractors, front-end loaders to excavate, move and grade earth, erect structures or pour concrete or other hard surface pavement. Performs maintenance to the equipment such as lubricating, inspecting and cleaning.
Must be able to operate equipment as indicated above to establish grades on various phases of new construction for roads, parking lots, building pads, etc., knowledge of GPS system for establishing grades a plus. 3-5 years of experience preferred. Drug Test/Screening, Reference Checks, and must have dependable transportation.
