Job summary

Zoecklein Law, P.A., a Florida-based probate, guardianship, estate planning, and litigation firm, seeks a skilled Guardianship Paralegal with at least 2 years of recent Florida guardianship experience. You will handle deadlines, filings, pleadings, and client communications while maintaining organized files and supporting attorneys in complex guardianship matters.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently and with the team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Florida Guardianship Paralegal
• Strong working knowledge of Florida guardianship statutes and procedures
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional phone etiquette and client service mindset
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Draft guardianship petitions, inventories, annual plans, annual accountings, and related pleadings in compliance with Florida law
• Manage court deadlines, hearing scheduling, and statutory reporting obligations
• Prepare hearing notebooks and assist attorneys with evidentiary preparation
• Maintain organized electronic and physical case files
• Communicate professionally with clients, examining committees, court personnel, and opposing counsel
• Coordinate service of process and track required filings
• Ensure compliance with all guardianship reporting requirements
• Manage multiple active matters and prioritize tasks effectively
