Job summary

Guardian Glass (a Koch Company) is offering Engineering Internships for the Summer 2027, a 12-week program running from late May to mid-August 2027. Interns gain hands-on experience across multiple engineering disciplines such as Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, and Materials engineering.

Interns will work with CAD software, perform failure testing on glass samples, and learn about tooling, lean processes, and product development labs within a global materials company.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an Engineering degree or equivalent program.
• Eligible for summer internship in 2027.

Responsibilities

• Work in CAD software to support design and analysis.
• Assist with failure testing on glass/trim samples.
• Support automation of processes and reporting.
• Contribute to lean process improvement initiatives.

Guardian Glass (a Koch Company) is seeking Engineering Interns to join our teams this upcoming Summer 2027! At Guardian, we make high-performance, energy efficient glass for homes and buildings. What You Will Do

Our internship program seeks talent from many disciplines including (but not limited to):

• Electrical Engineering
• Industrial Engineering
• Manufacturing Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Chemical Engineering
• Materials Engineering/Engineering Technology

Some examples of responsibilities or projects include:

• Working in CAD software
• Preparing and performing failure testing on glass/trim samples
• Automation of processes and standardized reporting
• Time studies and lean process improvement to achieve operational excellence
• Supporting product development lab experiments and field trials
• Working with and learning about tooling
• Supporting project teams on new equipment installations

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Enrolled in an Engineering degree or alternative program. (e.g., 2-year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program, etc.)
• Eligible for full-time employment on or before Summer 2028.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
