Job description

Northwell Health’s Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and Staten Island University Hospital has an immediate opening for a full-time AP/CP board certified GU Pathologist. Junior and experienced candidates are encouraged to apply. SIUH has a rapidly growing department of urology with an active surgical service including transperineal fusion biopsies of the prostate, bladder biopsies, TURBTs, ureteropelvic biopsies, orchiectomy, and nephrectomy specimens. Candidates would also be expected to participate in the general biopsy and surgical sign-out as needed.

Staten Island University Hospital is a 714-bed teaching hospital that spans two campuses and provides a vast array of services in health and wellness. Our 17-acre North campus houses Staten Island’s most modern emergency department, a state-of-the-art education center, a medical arts pavilion, and a new comprehensive cancer center scheduled to open by the end of 2023. The Prince’s Bay campus boasts its own emergency department and offers a range of specialty programs, including geriatric psychiatry, behavioral health, and substance abuse services.
