Product Manager- Drayage, Global Mile
Cargomatic is looking for an experienced and results oriented business product owner to help lead our Drayage/Global Mile product through its next phase of hyper growth. This is a leadership role for driving overall product growth (revenue & profitability), formulating product strategy, driving roadmap investment choices and delivering products that drive positive outcomes for our customers and the business.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Drive Commercial Success: Take ownership of the Drayage/Global Mile product's commercial success by implementing strategies to achieve revenue growth and profitability goals.
  • Craft Go-to-Market Strategies: Create impactful strategies to penetrate the Total Addressable Market (TAM) and expedite market share acquisition for the product.
  • Product Positioning and Messaging: Develop and execute product positioning, messaging and collateral development strategies to effectively communicate the value proposition of the Drayage offering.
  • Craft Competitive Pricing Strategies: Develop pricing strategies that are competitive within the market landscape, balancing customer value and revenue objectives.
  • Voice of the Customer: Serve as the primary advocate for customers within the organization, ensuring the Drayage product consistently surpasses customer expectations.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Serve as the central point of coordination (control tower), aligning the efforts of operations, technology, marketing, sales, and commercial teams to achieve product goals while fostering accountability across teams.
  • Performance Tracking: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the performance and success of the Drayage product, regularly analyzing data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration with Product Management & Engineering: Work closely with platform product management and engineering teams to align the product roadmap, driving continuous product improvements and innovation.
  • Service Excellence: Collaborate with delivery and customer experience functions to ensure service excellence, delivering the best possible customer experience and value.
  • Define Success Metrics: Define and refine success metrics to continually evaluate the effectiveness of products in solving business problems and delivering value to marketplace customers.

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in building and marketing intermodal transportation services.
  • Strong understanding of logistics operations, including transportation, storage, transloading, and distribution.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proficient in operational strategy, business product development, go-to-market strategies, commercialization, and technology.
  • Ability to set clear, ambitious product goals that motivate and focus the team on delivering with excellence and operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Articulate and proactive in communication style with ability to reinforce a clear vision with well-defined objectives.
  • Proven ability to work across functions and influence senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Passionate about customer experience, with a track record of delivering and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong bias towards data-based decision making.

The expected salary range for this role is $130,000 to $230,000. The actual base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and other factors permitted by law. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
