Job description

Austin | Chicago | New York City | Salt Lake City | San Francisco

Gong harnesses the power of AI to transform how revenue teams win. The Gong Revenue AI Operating System unifies data, insights, and workflows into a single, trusted system that observes, guides, and acts alongside the world’s most successful revenue teams. Powered by the Gong Revenue Graph, AI-powered intelligence, specialized agents, and trusted applications, Gong helps more than 5,000 companies around the world deeply understand their teams and customers, automate critical sales workflows, and close more deals with less effort. For more information, visit www.gong.io.

At Gong, you will join a company built on innovative products, ambitious goals, and passionate people. We are shaping the future of revenue intelligence and we want people who are excited to build what comes next. You will work with a team that dreams big, moves fast, and cares deeply about the craft and about each other. Here, transparency and trust are core to how we operate, and every person has the opportunity to make a visible impact. If you want to grow, stretch, and do work that truly matters, Gong is the place to do the best work of your career.

Gong's AI Acceleration Team is a newly-formed function inside GTM Strategy & Operations, built to apply AI directly to the workflows that make our go-to-market teams faster and more effective. We prioritize solutions built natively in Gong first, and build custom tooling where Gong doesn't yet cover the use case. This is a founding hire on a lean, fast-moving team with high executive visibility.

As a GTM AI Engineer, you'll design, build, and ship AI-powered infrastructure, tools, and workflows end-to-end — from concept to production. You're not configuring a no-code automation platform; you're building the systems that sit on top of our data foundation and turn it into real productivity gains for revenue teams and business outcomes for our customers. For example: a system that scans months of call activity to identify who previously requested a product feature that's since shipped, and auto-drafts personalized outreach with proposed use cases so the field teams can close the loop.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design and build AI-powered infrastructure, workflows, and internal tools that increase productivity across GTM teams
  • Take initiatives from concept through production and continued iteration — not just prototyping or proof-of-concept work
  • Partner closely with the internal Ops, Analytics, Product, and IT teams, who own the operational surfaces, broader data foundation, and AI tooling/hosting infrastructure this work builds on
  • Identify friction and manual work across GTM workflows and propose AI-driven solutions to eliminate it
  • Work with subject matter experts pulled in from field teams
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Background in software / data engineering, data science, applied AI/ML, or technical consulting (e.g., an AI/ML practice), with hands‑on delivery experience
  • Demonstrated experience shipping AI tools or workflows to production, not just building demos
  • Comfort building internal‑facing tools — you're motivated by the productivity impact on internal teams, not just external product shipping
  • Strong systems thinking and the ability to work independently in an early‑stage, still‑being‑defined team
  • Experience with modern AI/LLM tooling and integration patterns (APIs, workflow orchestration, agent frameworks)
NICE TO HAVE
  • Prior experience inside a GTM, RevOps, or Sales organization
  • Familiarity with Gong, Salesforce, or comparable GTM tech stack tools
  • Experience partnering with non-technical stakeholders to scope and prioritize builds
PERKS & BENEFITS
  • We offer Gongsters a variety of medical, dental, and vision plans, designed to fit you and your family’s needs.
  • Wellbeing Fund - flexible wellness stipend to support a healthy lifestyle.
  • Mental Health benefits with covered therapy and coaching.
  • 401(k) program to help you invest in your future.
  • Education & learning stipend for personal growth and development.
  • Flexible vacation time to promote a healthy work‑life blend.
  • Paid parental leave to support you and your family.
  • Company‑wide recharge days each quarter.
  • Work from home stipend to help you succeed in a remote environment.

Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way.
