Job summary

Modern Industries Manufacturing in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking an experienced TIG Welder (GTAW) for aerospace manufacturing. You will read blueprints, translate them into high‑quality weldments, and set precise TIG parameters to meet exact specs.

You will prep joints, execute welds, and complete finishing operations while performing in‑process inspections and maintaining certifications and documentation. Strong blueprint literacy and comfort with various filler materials are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of welding experience across multiple methods.
• TIG welding (GTAW) experience with aerospace parts.

Responsibilities

• Turn customer drawings, specs, and instructions into weldments.
• Prep joints, execute TIG welds, and complete finishing operations.
• Review mechanical drawings and apply weld symbols correctly.
• Perform in‑process inspections and maintain certifications/documentation.
