A Snapshot of Your Day

We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic, enthusiastic, well-organized individual, and a coach/player for the role of Services Sales Team Lead. The Team Leader will manage a direct sales team. In this role, you will develop, implement, and execute sales strategies to maximize revenues and support the attainment of corporate objectives. Additionally, the Team Leader will actively recruit, develop, and support the career progression of high-performing, driven sales talent.

How You’ll Make An Impact
  • Assist in executing daily sales activities with Siemens Energy internal and external customers, leading a small team in the USA.
  • Facilitate training to improve market knowledge of team members to effectively sell our service solutions. Collaborate with marketing to enhance sales efforts.
  • Support forecasting, manage key accounts, and assist in collecting VOC data to inform product development, upgrades, and service offerings.
  • Travel approximately 50%. Develop team members' selling skills using a consultative approach, including pre-call planning, cross-selling, and customizing solutions based on customer needs.
  • Encourage face-to-face activities in the field and develop, review, and execute business territory plans.
  • Coach team members through joint calls, participate in virtual meetings, provide feedback, and follow up to ensure success.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or Business (preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of direct technical sales experience in capital equipment/instrumentation, with a diverse product portfolio (preferred)
  • MBA or advanced technical degree
  • 1-3 years of sales management experience
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce) is required

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US without current or future sponsorship. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
