Cornerstone Schools is seeking a GSRP Lead Teacher (PreK) to partner with the Lead Teacher in delivering a high-quality preschool program for Detroit’s youngest learners. The role emphasizes warm supervision, small-group support, and consistent daily routines to help every child thrive.

Qualificações

• CDA credential or equivalent&ECE coursework is required.
• Experience with 3-5 year olds in preschool or licensed child care is preferred.
• Commitment to the Cornerstone mission and values with a focus on developmentally appropriate practice.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in delivering daily preschool lessons and learning activities.
• Support small-group instruction and respond to individual student needs.
• Help maintain classroom routines and smooth transitions throughout the day.
• Reinforce positive behavior expectations consistently across the classroom.
• Support family engagement and communication with caregivers during arrival and dismissal.
• Follow all GSRP, licensing, and safety requirements and document observations as directed.
