Job summary

Grand Blanc Community Schools seeks a Pre-K Teacher to create an engaging, developmentally appropriate classroom that nurtures each child's growth across cognitive, social-emotional, and physical domains.

You will build strong partnerships with families and colleagues, implement high-quality instruction aligned to standards, and support early childhood development in a 186-day, on-site program across multiple elementary locations.

Qualifications

• Michigan teaching certificate required.
• Endorsements ZA/ZS/ZO/ZN required.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood or Childhood Development preferred.

Job Summary

The Pre-K Teacher creates an engaging, developmentally appropriate learning environment that nurtures each child's cognitive, social-emotional, and physical growth. The teacher builds strong, collaborative relationships with students, families, and colleagues while implementing high-quality instruction aligned with individual needs and program standards. This role fosters curiosity, independence, and foundational skills that prepare children for long-tern academic success.

Salary & Benefits

Teacher Salary Schedule + $10,000 Commitment Bonus*

186 days per year

• The bonus shall be distributed to eligible teachers based on available and sustainable funds and payable in accordance with District policy and guidelines.
• Health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance.
• Employees shall be subject to the co-payment of health care costs equal to the difference between the premium cost and the annual cost limitation imposed on public employers.

Education

Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate required. Early Childhood Education (ZA), Early Childhood-General and Special Education (ZS), Lower Elementary Education, PK-3 (ZO), or Early Childhood General and Special Education, Birth-K (ZN) endorsement required. Bachelors degree in Early Childhood or Childhood Development is preferred.
