The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan's state-funded, nationally recognized, Pre-K program for 4-year-old children.The GSRP Teacher is responsible for all aspects of planning, assessing and instructing 4-year old's, based on needs of each child, and the requirements of the GSRP grant. We want change makers who never stop being curious, inventive, and open-hearted to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond!

As a Lead GSRP Teacher, you’ll:

  • Create!Develop fun,interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
  • Care!Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the preschool childreninyour class.
  • Call the shots!Take the lead onclassroom managementand curriculum implementation,plusbe an expert on all licensing guidelines, company standards and Grant requirements.
  • Communicate!Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.

Wewant energetic, dependable, passionate individualswhoare at least 18 andhave:

  • Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education or related
  • Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans
  • The ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
  • The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
