Job summary

Community Unlimited is seeking a dependable Floating Caregiver to support preschool classrooms across assigned locations. This role travels between sites to provide coverage and assist teaching teams, helping create a safe, welcoming learning environment.

You will supervise children, support daily routines and meals, and help maintain clean, organized classroom spaces, while following health and safety plans and participating in required trainings.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Patience, dependability, and a genuine interest in supporting young children.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work at different locations and reliable transportation to assigned sites.
• Ability to meet applicable background-check, health, licensing, and training requirements.
• Ability to perform active classroom duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Help young learners feel safe, supported, and ready to grow. Community Unlimited is seeking a dependable, caring, and flexible Floating Caregiver to support our preschool classrooms.

This position travels among assigned Community Unlimited locations to provide classroom coverage and assist teaching teams where support is needed. If you enjoy working with young children, adapting to different classrooms, and being someone your team can count on, we would love to hear from you.

• Pay: $16.32–$19.58 per hour.


• Schedule: Monday through Thursday, as needed during the school year.


• Location: Assigned Community Unlimited GSRP classrooms; local travel required.


• Reports to: Program Director.

What You’ll Do
