The GSRP Assistant Teacher supports the Lead Teacher and classroom team in delivering a safe, engaging, developmentally appropriate preschool program in Harper Creek. The position shares responsibility for active supervision, daily routines, learning experiences, child documentation, family communication, and consistent compliance with GSRP, CISD, licensing, and Community Unlimited expectations.
Location: Harper Creek / Battle Creek, Michigan
Reports To: CU Program Director
Classification: Full-time | School-year | Hourly
Schedule: Average 37.5 hours per week; follows CU and school calendars
Compensation: $18.25-$21.91 per hour, based on education and experience
Opening: 2026-2027 school year | Open until filled
