Job summary

Heartfelt Impressions Rochester center is actively seeking a GSRP/PreK classroom aide for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time role offers on-site work and opportunities to learn the Highscope curriculum while supporting four-year-olds as they prepare for Kindergarten.

The ideal candidate will be 18+, have reliable transportation, and be able to pass fingerprinting checks; CPR/First Aid certification can be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid driver's license with chauffeur's endorsement to drive the 14-passenger bus (highly desired).
• Ability to pass fingerprinting background check.
• CPR/First Aid Certificate (can be completed within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Communicates openly with both parents and staff.
• Provides active supervision at all times.
• Activity planning (indoor and outdoor).
• Helping children with homework assignments, conflict resolution and other classroom interactions.
• Feeding the children their afternoon snack.
• Building respectful relationships in the classroom.
• Comply with licensing rules, regulations, and procedures.

Heartfelt Impressions Rochester center is actively seeking a GSRP/PreK classroom aide for the 2026-2027 school year. If you are considering a career in Early Childhood Education, this full-time role will help you gain knowledge of classroom operations and the Highscope curriculum.

Position Detail

• Status: Regular, full-time (benefit eligible)
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am-6pm, start may flex to 10am
• Desired start: ASAP
• Pay rate: $15/hour, additional compensation $18/hour for driving the 14-passenger bus
• Location: Onsite, Rochester, MI
• Please note this position does NOT qualify for US Visa Sponsorship or relocation
