Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a GSRP Center Assistant to aid in planning, implementing, and monitoring curriculum in the Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP). The role supports daily operations aimed at promoting children's readiness across various developmental domains through specific educational strategies.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with preferred experience working with preschool-aged or at-risk students. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for effective communication with students, parents, and staff.

About The Role

Assists in planning, implementing, and monitoring curriculum and assessments in the State funded grant program of the Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP). This position will assist with the daily operation of the program to promote children’s readiness in the developmental domains of language and literacy, social emotional, mathematics, physical development and cognitive development utilizing the Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies Gold Assessment.

Qualifications Desired

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Meets the LARA, Child Care Licensing Division requirements as a "Caregiver"
