Job summary

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers in Rochester, MI is seeking an Associate GSRP Teacher to join our early childhood team. You will work with the Lead Teacher to provide a nurturing, developmentally appropriate classroom that supports preschoolers’ growth and readiness for the next level.

The ideal candidate holds a center-based preschool CDA or an associate degree in early childhood education/child development, is available full-time, and has reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid center-based preschool CDA; or an associate degree in early childhood education or child development or the equivalent.
• Must have full-time availability and reliable transportation.
• CPR certification is required and may be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Driver's license to drive a 14-passenger bus for field trips (chauffeur's license required).

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young children? Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers is seeking a caring, energetic, and dedicated Associate GSRP Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Rochester MI.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with the Lead Teacher to create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports preschool children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. The ideal candidate is committed to fostering school readiness, building positive relationships with families, and inspiring a lifelong love of learning in every child.

Position Detail:

• 2026-2027 School year
• Status: Regular, full-time
• Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
• Class time: Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm
• Desired start: ASAP
• Pay range $18-$22/hour, depending on education/certification plus years of experience
• Location: Onsite, Rochester, MI
• Choice of summer's off or continue working our summer camp program

Requirements

• Must have a valid center-based preschool CDA (Child Development Associate credential); or
• An associate degree in early childhood education or child development or the equivalent
• Must have full-time availability and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass background check (fingerprinting)
• CPR certification is required of all teaching staff and may be obtained within 30 days of hire
• Required to drive a 14-passenger bus for field trips (chauffeur's license required)
• Must be available to work before/after care as schedule due to enrollment numbers
