Job description

This position is primarily guest service out on the gaming floor and assisting with basic gaming machine functions, including detailed paperwork, accurate data entry, and money counting skills. All positions within 7 CLANS CASINOS are responsible for maintaining excellent guest service, efficient productivity, and providing a safe, orderly, and exciting workplace.

The main duties and responsibilities of all slot team members include:

1. Greeting guests and team members enthusiastically upon arrival, maintaining a proactive guest service approach, and recognizing regular players by name.
2. Assisting guests with questions regarding promotions, events, and casino locations.
3. Ensuring adequate coverage for guest service by maintaining attendance.
4. Distributing Player’s Club membership forms, assisting with completion, and restocking materials as needed.
5. Managing keys and radios during shifts, and safeguarding company property.
6. Ensuring gaming machines are operational, troubleshooting jams or paper issues, and notifying maintenance when necessary.
7. Handling monetary transactions, verifying IDs, and ensuring proper documentation for payouts and jackpots.

Additional responsibilities include regulatory compliance, organizational growth, decision making, and effective communication. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, with guest services experience preferred. Must be at least 18 years old, punctual, dependable, and able to communicate effectively in English. Physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs and push or pull 50 lbs, with the capacity to stand for long periods, is required.

Applicants must provide valid work authorization documents and pass a drug test to obtain a gaming license from the Otoe Missouria Gaming Commission. The work environment involves exposure to noise, fumes, and second-hand smoke, with reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.
