Job summary

HiveWatch is seeking a Global Security Operations Center Supervisor to oversee daily GSOC operations and ensure proactive security monitoring, incident response, and client coordination. You will lead a team across shifts, uphold high standards of service, and drive continuous improvement in security practices.

You will manage video surveillance, access control, and mass communication tools while coordinating with emergency responders and clients to protect people and assets.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a GSOC, security operations center, emergency response, or related field with 2+ years in leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of security technology platforms including video surveillance, access control, critical event management, and mass communication tools.
• Ability to make critical decisions under pressure and manage high-stress situations effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to guide a team.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in a dynamic environment.
• Experience working with emergency responders, corporate security teams, and crisis management frameworks.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening upon extension of a conditional offer.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Be assigned to a fixed shift in a 24/7 operations center—Day, Swing, or Night—with flexibility.
• Lead by example and uphold HiveWatch core principles of customer service and professionalism.
• Lead, mentor, and support GSOC Operators, ensuring adherence to procedures.
• Oversee security monitoring operations including video surveillance, access control, and mass communication tools.
• Coordinate response efforts during incidents, emergencies, and crises with clear guidance.
• Act as the primary escalation point for critical incidents and ensure proper actions are taken.
• Facilitate communication between GSOC, security teams, law enforcement, and stakeholders.
• Conduct regular training, briefings, and performance evaluations for GSOC personnel.
• Maintain accurate incident records in compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify gaps and propose process improvements leveraging data analytics.

About the Role:

A Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the GSOC, ensuring the effective use of technology, the team, and processes to provide proactive security monitoring, emergency response coordination, and critical event management.

The GSOC Supervisor plays a pivotal role in maintaining operational efficiency, enhancing security protocols, and creating a culture of professionalism and exceptional customer service. This role requires leadership, decision-making under pressure, and collaboration with multiple clients, security personnel, and emergency responders to protect people, assets, and operations.

As a GSOC Supervisor you will be expected to:

• Be assigned to a fixed shift in our 24/7 operations center — Day (5:00 AM–1:30 PM), Swing (1:00 PM–9:30 PM), or Night (9:00 PM–5:30 AM) — with flexibility based on the needs of the company.
• Lead by example - display the HiveWatch core principles of customer service and professionalism.
• Lead, mentor, and support GSOC Operators in executing their duties, ensuring adherence to best practices and standard operating procedures.
• Oversee security monitoring operations, which may include use of video surveillance, access control systems, open-source intelligence gathering, and mass communication tools.
• Manage and coordinate response efforts during security incidents, emergencies, and crisis situations, providing clear guidance and decision-making support.
• Act as the primary point of escalation for critical incidents, ensuring appropriate response actions are taken and documented accurately.
• Facilitate effective communication between the GSOC, security teams, law enforcement, emergency responders, and key stakeholders.
• Conduct regular training, briefings, and performance evaluations for GSOC personnel to enhance operational capabilities and professional development.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of incidents, communications, and security events in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify operational gaps and recommend process improvements, leveraging technology and data analytics to enhance GSOC efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with HiveWatch policies, including confidentiality and data protection guidelines.

Physical and Environmental Conditions:

• The position requires sitting or standing in place for extended periods
• Due to the nature of this work, personal belongings including electronics are not permitted in the GSOC. Secure storage will be provided onsite.
  
  

ADDITIONAL INFO:

• Salary Range $70,500 to $75,000
• Eligible to participate in HiveWatch Equity Incentive Plan
• 100% onsite role
