Job summary

Sugarloaf Mountain Corporation is seeking a Lift Attendant to welcome guests, assist with loading and unloading from SkyLift Chairs, and promote safety throughout shifts. You will help operate lifts, ensure guest safety, and provide resort information with a focus on excellent customer service.

This outdoor, year-round role requires physical stamina to stand for long periods and the ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Available to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures and evacuations.
• Familiar with GSLP Handbook policies.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and assist with loading/unloading from SkyLift Chairs.
• Promote safety procedures and ensure guests' safety.
• Load, unload, start/stop, and adjust speed of lifts.
• Provide resort information to guests.
• Attend required trainings/meetings and perform end-of-shift cleanup.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

As a Lift Attendant you are responsible for welcoming customers by greeting them and offering them assistance, safely loading and unloading guests from the SkyLift Chairs. Promoting safety procedures and making decisions concerning guests' safety while exhibiting excellent customer service.

Essential Job Functions (including but not limited to,):

• Additional responsibilities as assigned by your manager
• Assistingguests on and off thescenic chairlift safely
• Starting, stopping and adjusting speed of lifts

• Ensuring they are safely seated and using safety bars
• Keeping terminal area clean and orderly
• Promotingsafety procedures at all times
• Performing maintenance terminal areas and other areas as needed
• Assisting in daily lift inspections and preparation

• Providing resort information for guests
• Other tasks as assigned by Shift Supervisor
• Must work your scheduled shift and follow uniform policy procedures
• Attend required trainings/meetings
• Preform any end-of-shift cleanup tasks or closing tasks as related to your shift

Qualifications

Required Qualifications (knowledge, skills, certifications, education, etc.)

• You are at least 18 years old
• Achieved a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• You are available to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and can be flexible with schedule changes.

• You must have reliable transportation
• Follow all safety procedures and precautions for this position.
• Must be competent in all Evac procedures through trainings
• Must adhere to policies and procedures in the GSLP Handbook

Preferred Qualifications (knowledge, skills, certifications, education, etc.)

• You enjoy working outside in various weather conditions
• You enjoy customer service positions while helping and interacting with guests
• Previous experience in chairlift operations

Physical Demands:

Must be able to stand for 6-8 hours at a time

Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Work Environment:

• This is an outdoor position with exposure to the elements at times.

Position type and expected hours of work:

This position is a full-time, year-round day or night and weekend position. Overtime may or may not be available.

Travel:

No traveling is required for this position
