Overview

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The F&B Attendant is responsible for the sales of all F&B of the property as well as maintaining a clean and approachable working environment.

Essential Job Functions (including but not limited to):

  1. Assisting customers by escorting them directly to racks and counters, and/or suggesting items
  2. Advising customers by providing accurate information on products
  3. Helping customers make selections by building customer confidence through offering suggestions and opinions
  4. Accurately preparing and serving food and drink items to customers
  5. Accepting payments by totaling purchases and processing cash, credit cards, etc.
  6. Setting up and displaying products and merchandise
  7. Assisting with keeping F&B products stocked and in order
  8. Maintaining the appearance, upkeep, and cleanliness of all Skypark areas.
  9. Helping to maintain accurate inventory records on a weekly basis
  10. Must work your scheduled shift and follow uniform policy guidelines
  11. Attend required trainings/meetings

Qualifications

Required Qualifications (knowledge, skills, certifications, education, etc.)

  1. Must have or be willing to obtain a Serve Safe food handlers' certification within 60 days (about 2 months).
  2. Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  3. Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  4. Must have reliable transportation
  5. Must be trustworthy

  1. Enjoy a customer service position working with guests
  2. Thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  3. Have a positive attitude
  4. Enjoy human interaction
  5. Enjoy making other people smile

  7. Have previous F&B experience
  8. Enjoy and love the beautiful Smoky Mountain views!

Physical Demands:

Must be able to stand for 6-8 hours at a time.

Must be able to lift +/- 25 lbs.

Work Environment:

  1. This is an indoor/outdoor position with exposure to the elements at times which would include all weather conditions.
  2. This position is at the top of Crocket Mountain, behind the Skypark building at the west end of the Sky Bridge.
