Job summary

BETA Technologies, in Vermont, is hiring a GSE Manufacturing Technician to build, test, and prepare ground support equipment for electric aircraft operations. You will work with a small team, taking designs from development to repeatable production, performing assembly, inspection, troubleshooting, and documentation.

You will follow drawings and wiring diagrams, install electrical harnesses, conduct functional checks, and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Two+ years in manufacturing/assembly or related technical setting; or a 2-year degree/certificate.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, specifications, and work instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical assembly practices.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation.
• Good team communication and commitment to safe, high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Assemble ground support equipment and related subassemblies.
• Operate production equipment and use tools to build, test, and prepare GSE.
• Follow data packages, drawings, BOMs, and wiring diagrams.
• Install and verify electrical harnesses and panels.
• Conduct functional checks and report deviations or safety concerns.
• Maintain manufacturing records and support process improvements.
• Adhere to safety requirements for high-voltage and other hazards.
