Job description

Location: RNO Airport

Employment Type: Full-Time

Travel: Up to 35%

Schedule: Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Subject to on-call and emergency call-in based on operational needs.

General Purpose Of The Job

Ground service equipment is the backbone of every ramp operation - and the GSE Operations Manager is the person responsible for keeping it running. In this role, you will oversee the maintenance, repair, and operational readiness of all ground support equipment across your assigned station, including tugs, belt loaders, air start units, ground power units, air conditioning units, lavatory carts, water carts, cargo loaders, and related vehicles and machinery.

This is a working manager role. You will lead and develop a team of GSE technicians (Levels I–III), set the standard for technical excellence and safety, and serve as the go-to resource for equipment reliability across the operation. You will also maintain a cross-utilized presence on the ramp, stepping in to support and train agents as needed. If you are a technically skilled, safety-driven leader who takes pride in keeping equipment - and teams - performing at their best, this is your opportunity.
