Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. in Humble, TX is seeking a GSE Mechanic Level II to repair and maintain ground service equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, pushbacks, and trucks, performing advanced maintenance on a wide range of equipment.

You will diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems, test equipment, complete required paperwork, and uphold safety standards and customer service. Shifts include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older? (not required in this posting)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
• 3 years of verified experience required
• Must provide their own tools and toolbox
• Demonstrate regular, predictable attendance at job location
• Must hold a valid driver’s license
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically
• Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and electronically
• Pass a background check and drug screen
• Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs, as applicable)
• Flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain ground service equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, pushbacks, and trucks (advanced maintenance)
• Service equipment with fluids and compressed air
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues
• Inspect, replace and modify components as per manufacturer guidelines
• Complete paperwork and track parts
• Adhere to safety procedures and PrimeFlight standards
• Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
