Alliance Ground International (AGI) is seeking a skilled GSE Mechanic to maintain and enhance our ground service handling equipment across U.S. airports. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, installations, and diagnostics to ensure reliability and safety of operations in a dynamic aviation environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 year of hands-on experience as a GSE/Diesel Mechanic.
• Technical certifications or licenses are preferred.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Valid motor vehicle driver's license for both air side/non-air side operations (will help obtain air side).

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repairs on ground service handling equipment; perform preventative maintenance.
• Set up, install, modify, and renovate equipment as directed to improve the GSE fleet.
• Maintain comprehensive inventory records of machinery and service cycle activities.
• Operate and drive various types of equipment, motorized and non-motorized.
• Execute preventative maintenance according to schedules.
• Respond to on-call maintenance requests, including after-hours when directed.
• Provide troubleshooting and diagnostic assessments of ground support equipment.
• Overhaul power systems, drive-train, brakes, electric and hydraulic components as needed.
• Follow safety guidelines and report accidents involving GSE equipment.
• Pick up required parts and materials for maintenance and repair.
• Demonstrate proper use of tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Complete maintenance documentation in compliance with AGI guidelines.
• Keep the GSE shop and equipment clean and organized; report deficiencies.
• Fuel equipment with safety and environmental considerations.
• Communicate professionally with Ramp management and staff.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
