Job summary

UPS is seeking a Ground Support Equipment Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance on GSE, diagnose issues, and repair engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems. The role requires CDL A or B, willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift, and a full set of personal tools.

The position offers uniforms, weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package. Candidate will work 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, with potential overtime and shift flexibility.

Qualifications

• Must have automotive mechanic experience.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools and PC.
• Possess a full complement of personal hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and preventive maintenance on all Ground Support Equipment.
• Diagnose problems using test equipment, and applicable manuals.
• Remove, test, repair or replace components and accessories on GSE.
• Operate and test ground equipment for performance assessment.
• Document repairs, parts and labor on the computer.
• Meet D.O.T requirements.
