Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 4 years of related experience or equivalent training.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret DoD Clearance within a reasonable time.
• Must be able to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work (lift up to 50 lbs, overhead work, etc.).
• Experience with pneumatics and small hand tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on powered and non-powered ground support equipment.
• Review maintenance records to ensure equipment is operational for daily use.
• Use basic hand tools and precision measuring devices for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Follow complex written instructions from test specs, blueprints, drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• May instruct lower-level mechanics on technical aspects of GSE work.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
