Job summary

Unifi Maintenance is seeking a GSE and Fleet Maintenance Technician responsible for diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles and employee shuttles. The role supports a wide range of mechanical systems with safety and DOT compliance in mind.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Maintenance experience and knowledge of servicing vehicles
• Preferred qualifications for higher pay range: Four to six years fleet maintenance experience, Multiple ASE certifications, CDL Class A or B with Passenger Endorsement, DOT standards experience, Refrigeration/HVAC or advanced electrical certifications

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, diesel, gasoline, electrical, hydraulic, HVAC, and computerized vehicle systems.
• Perform engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, and drivetrain repairs.
• Utilize diagnostic software and testing equipment to identify vehicle faults.
• Conduct detailed inspections to ensure compliance with company safety standards and DOT regulations.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to Mechanic I and Mechanic II employees.
• Assist with repair planning, parts procurement, and inventory control.
• Verify the quality of completed repairs and maintenance activities.
• Support emergency roadside and operational repairs as required.
• Recommend process improvements to increase fleet reliability and efficiency.
• Perform all other duties within technical capabilities and experience.

Pay Range: $26 - $44Hr based on skills, experience, and certifications.

• Ability to work independently with supervision as required.
• Valid Driver's License.

Preferred qualifications for higher pay range

• Four to six years of fleet maintenance experience.
• Multiple ASE certifications.
• CDL Class A or B with Passenger Endorsement.
• Experience with fleet maintenance following DOT standards.
• Refrigeration, HVAC, or advanced electrical certifications.
