Job summary

Shields Health Solutions is seeking a Strategic Operations Associate to work directly with Executive Leadership on growth, strategy, and operational initiatives. This role suits candidates transitioning from IB, PE, consulting, or strategic finance into a high-impact operating role within a fast-growing healthcare company.

You’ll support strategic decision-making through financial analysis, business planning, performance improvement, and cross-functional project leadership while gaining exposure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1-3 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, Corporate Development, Strategic Finance, FP&A, M&A, or high-growth startup.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Experience creating executive-level presentations and communicating insights to senior stakeholders.
• Self-starter with strong project management and communication skills.
• Healthcare experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Regional Vice Presidents and Operations leaders to drive financial, operational, and clinical performance.
• Develop financial models, forecasts, business cases, and executive presentations.
• Lead and support strategic projects across operations, growth, and business development.
• Analyze data and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
• Assist with strategic planning, board materials, and executive communications.
• Evaluate growth opportunities, partnerships, and operational improvement initiatives.
