Job summary

Verkada’s Marketing Analytics and Data Science team is seeking a strategic analytics leader to drive performance across marketing channels. You will diagnose performance, turn questions into analyses, and deliver actionable recommendations.

You’ll build forecasts, KPIs, and scalable tools in SQL, Looker, and AI-enabled workflows, partnering with leadership to shape budgets and investments. This role is on-site at our HQ in San Mateo.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in analytics/strategy, growth, or related field.
• Advanced SQL skills with large datasets.
• Strong business judgment; translating analysis into action.
• Experience with marketing, growth, funnel, or go-to-market analytics.
• Experience with BI tools (Looker/Tableau/Power BI).
• Strong written and verbal communication, including with senior leaders.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Comfort using AI tools to augment analytics work.
• Must be able to work in-office 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Analyze campaign, channel, segment, and funnel performance to identify growth opportunities.
• Evaluate marketing ROI and inform budget decisions.
• Turn ambiguous questions into structured analyses and clear recommendations.
• Build forecasts, targets, business cases, and measurement frameworks.
• Independently analyze large datasets and test hypotheses.
• Partner with leadership to define KPIs and influence strategy.
• Build scalable analytics, automation, and AI-powered tools.
• Communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
