Chess.com, a global gaming platform with 600+ remote teammates, is seeking a Product Designer for Growth to help shape core experiences across web and mobile. You'll collaborate with Product, Engineering, and other designers to design and iterate on features like Home, Profile, Notifications, Widgets, and Messaging for millions of players worldwide.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience as a Product Designer on a consumer-facing product or game.
• A portfolio showing polished UI design for web and mobile apps that clearly demonstrates your personal contribution.
• Strong command of UI design fundamentals, typography, color, layout, and interaction.

Responsibilities

• Design polished, production-ready user interfaces for Chess.com apps across web, iOS, and Android.
• Own the design of projects from early problem definition through implementation.
• Partner with Product Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and directions.
• Use Chess.com design patterns and our design system to create responsive, interactive experiences.
• Create and iterate on prototypes to communicate ideas and iterate quickly.
• Present work with clear rationale, user insights, and product context.
• Collaborate in a Slack-heavy remote environment, sharing feedback and proposing improvements.
