Job summary

Kenco Group in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Warehouse Associate to pick and pack orders, print labels, and inspect products to ensure accuracy for shipping and receiving demands. This role supports safety, quality, and continuous improvement across our logistics operations.

You will use order-picking equipment, maintain clean work areas, and participate in cycle counts while complying with DOT, IATA, and SQFI standards. Experience in warehousing and basic computer skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to complete physical tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders for shipment and ensure correct items are loaded.
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• May operate a forklift or order picker for picking orders.
• Pack orders for shipments and apply labels for carriers.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on forms.
• Attach shipping labels and ensure DOT/IATA/IIMDG compliance.
• Report missing items or quality variances to supervisor.
• Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and undamaged.
• Inspect containers and packing to meet specifications.
• Participate in Inventory/Cycle Count as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and be inspection-ready.
• Communicate and report incidents; perform housekeeping as needed.
