Job summary

Empire Today in Northlake, IL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily distribution center operations in a safe, efficient manner. You will handle loading prep, receive shipments, verify accuracy, perform cycle counts, and pick/stage goods, while maintaining cleanliness and safety.

The role requires a high school diploma, prior warehouse experience preferred, and the ability to lift 50–75 lbs. Forklift experience and WMS familiarity are a plus; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift operating experience preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems preferred.
• Ability to lift or push 50-75 lbs as required.
• Commitment to safety, attendance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Daily warehouse work activities, including loading prep and unloading shipments.
• Receive/unload shipments and verify for accuracy.
• Cycle counts and inventory accuracy.
• Picking/cutting/staging goods as needed.
• Daily building cleanliness and maintenance and safety checks.
• Operate forklift and document machinery safety checks.
