LJB Inc. is seeking a Mid-level Structural Engineer in Houston, TX. This role focuses on analyzing, designing, planning, and fabricating structural components to meet project goals for diverse building projects.

Required 5+ years in reinforced concrete or steel vertical structural engineering and a Bachelor's in civil or architectural engineering with a structural emphasis. On-site role with opportunities for growth into project management.

Formación

• 5+ years of engineering experience in reinforced concrete and/or steel vertical structural projects.
• Bachelor's degree in civil or architectural engineering with structural emphasis.
• Experience preparing construction documents, drawings, reports, and supporting documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Independently completes structural calculations for superstructures, foundations, and floor slabs.
• Prepares construction documents for vertical building structures.
• Coordinates with design staff to ensure accurate document and drawing production.
• Conducts quality reviews of calculations and drawings as the project progresses.
• Works with project managers on multiple concurrent projects to ensure client guidelines.
• Mentor's new engineers on engineering processes.
