Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service, and team development at our Corpus Christi location.

You will assist with day-to-day store activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and support opening and closing procedures, while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.

This role requires strong communication, the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and a commitment to policy compliance and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and handle physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain promotional displays and store fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and manage loss prevention.
• Ensure a clean, well-stocked sales floor and stockroom.
• Support the Store Manager in training and developing Associates.
