Job summary

Sezzle is seeking a Junior Software Engineer in the United States to join a fast-paced fintech team. You’ll contribute to the design, development, and deployment of software solutions, focusing on modern SPA and backend APIs, with Golang, TypeScript, and React Native.

You’ll work within a culture that values high standards, collaboration, and continuous improvement, using AWS, Git, and CI/CD practices to deliver reliable software.

Qualifications

• Experience building SPAs and backend APIs for web apps.
• Proficient with relational databases and SQL.
• Familiar with AI tools and Claude or similar LLMs to improve productivity.
• BS degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering; strong programming skills.
• Golang, TypeScript, Python; frontend with React/React Native.
• Experience with Git, Gitlab, AWS, and automated tests (unit/integration/e2e).

Responsibilities

• Be an integral part of the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate in a team to develop new features and deploy solutions.
• Evaluate and adopt software tools, processes, and metrics.
