Job summary

FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in Alexandria, LA is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing team. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available with pay of $30–$35/hour.

You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients reach their treatment goals, guide therapeutic exercises, monitor progress, document care, and contribute to a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Louisiana PTA license or eligibility for Louisiana licensure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment under the Physical Therapist's established plan of care.
• Guide and assist patients through therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust the treatment as needed.
• Communicate patient progress with supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with therapists and team members to ensure a positive patient experience.
