Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Tulsa, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our rehabilitation team at Hillcrest Medical Center. You will assist the Physical Therapist in treating patients of all ages, document progress toward goals, and participate in orientation and teaching activities while following state practice guidelines.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited PTA program, Oklahoma PTA license, and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited PTA program as required for the role.
• Oklahoma PTA license is required to practice in Oklahoma.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer and before direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in providing Physical Therapy services to patients of all ages.
• Communicate and document treatment results and patient progress toward goals.
• Participate in orientation of new staff and health personnel, and participate in teaching activities.
• Work within practice guidelines as defined by Oklahoma state law.

Education
