Job summary

Ulster Savings Bank is seeking a full-time Personal Banker to perform routine branch and customer service duties while promoting Ulster Savings Bank products. You will refer customers to appropriate departments and work to maintain a secure environment by following advanced security protocols.

Qualifications

• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify customer standing to process deposits/withdrawals for checking and savings.
• Assist in safe deposit box duties.
• Redeem savings bonds for customers.
• Issue debit cards and gift cards on request.
• Open personal and commercial accounts (checking, savings, IRA).
• Discuss and market traditional and non-traditional bank products.
• Refer customers to other Ulster Savings Bank departments and subsidiaries.
• Stay up to date with all bank products and purposes.
• Perform CD redemptions, pay-outs, transfers, and renewals.
• Count currency and coins to balance cash box daily.
