PAM Health is actively hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our care team at our Corpus Christi facility. The role focuses on delivering nursing care under the supervision of an RN, gathering patient data, executing orders, and performing therapeutic procedures in an age-appropriate manner.

We require active LPN/LVN licensure in the practicing state and a current BLS certification (AHA approved within 90 days).

Qualifications

• LPN/LVN licensure in the state where hospital resides (or compact licensure).
• Current BLS certification required, AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• IV certification within 90 days if state regulations require it.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides nursing care as directed by an RN, collects and reports data, carries out orders, and performs therapeutic procedures with age-appropriate care per PAM Health policies and procedures.

Education

LPN/LVN licensure in state of practice

BLS certification (AHA approved)

IV certification within 90 days (where required)

1 year inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience (preferred)
