Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking an Operations Support & Sales Specialist in Scarbro, WV to assist Area Managers with operations, fleet management, and sales support. The role emphasizes safety, policy adherence, and exceptional customer service.

The position works closely with Area Managers to meet mutual goals and supports a range of tasks from pricing to account planning and risk mitigation. Strong teamwork and independent work are valued in this role.

Qualifications

• Some college or a degree preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years of related work experience
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and on a team; ability to lead, execute and/or delegate as needed
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships at every level of the organization; invest in building relationships with Field Operations and Field Support Center team members
• Ability to self-manage, show initiative, be proactive, and drive results.
• Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing to coworkers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare action plans by accounts & product line through effective search of sales leads & prospects.
• Be proficient in product knowledge to assist the customer in buying decisions.
• Provide timely and accurate competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval.
• Support Area Managers in managing operational costs.
• Actively anticipate operational risks and create solutions and/or preventative measures.
• Assist Area Managers with MORA inspections.
• Play a key role in achieving operations goals set by the Area Manager.
• Assures compliance with the Safety and Loss Control Program.
• Manage customer files.
