Job summary

Naya in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our growing restaurant team. You’ll oversee operations, budgeting, guest experience, and staff development to drive performance and guest satisfaction.

As a natural leader, you’ll hire, train, and coach the team, manage schedules and costs, and partner with HR for development. This on-site role requires nights, weekends, and a passion for fresh, authentic Middle Eastern flavors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of restaurant management/leadership operations experience.
• Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Superior interpersonal skills and ability to earn trust and respect from colleagues and staff.
• Thrives in a constantly evolving, fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use Gmail, Microsoft Office and other systems; input information accurately.

Responsibilities

• Ensure profitability by growing sales and controlling labor, cost of goods, and operating expenses.
• Hire, train, manage, coach, and evaluate all team members with HRBP partnership.
• Develop a culture of development and prepare Shift Leaders for future GMs.
• Meet objectives in sales, service, quality, cleanliness, and appearance.
• Create weekly schedules and ensure proper staffing while meeting labor targets.
• Oversee inventories, ordering, and monthly inventory checks.
• Handle payroll submissions and cash handling procedures.
