Job summary

Sabino Smiles Dentistry is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team and support the dentist in delivering exceptional care while building a positive patient experience.

You’ll work with modern dental technology, maintain a clean and sterile environment, perform x-rays and intra-oral pictures, and follow ADA/HIPAA guidelines to keep patients safe and comfortable.

Qualifications

• Experience as a dental assistant.
• Ability to maintain a clean, sterile environment and assist the dentist to provide optimal treatment.
• Familiarity with ADA, HIPAA, and OSHA guidelines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the dentist as necessary to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment; complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures as appropriate.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories per ADA guidelines and state/federal regulations.

The Opportunity

As both a patient and clinician advocate, you are a fundamental part of the Perfect Patient Experience^®. As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting the dentist as necessary to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• You will also maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patients feel comfortable and at the direction of the dentist, complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients as appropriate.
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with the American Dental Association guidelines while maintaining strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, HR policies and practices)

Compensation Information


$16.25-$23.00 / Hourly
